Shipping & Returns

  • We use the following as our shipping carriers:

    • UPS (Ground & Express)

    • DHL

    • FedEx 

    • Indian Post

  • Our standard method of shipping is UPS ground service. Please note that shipping times can vary based on holidays and special events.

  • We strive to pack and ship orders within 5 days of placement whenever possible.

  • The time taken for production of print books depends on the quantity of books required and the production options.

  • For less than 20 copies of a soft cover book (perfect or saddle-stitch binding), the production time required is 3-5 business days. 

  • Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays and other Holidays.

  • Once the book or books are produced, shipping time must be taken into consideration separately.

  • Shipping delays are sometimes inevitable and beyond our control. So, if you are on a deadline, please order the copies early to avoid last-minute issues.

  • Shipping time depends on the location and postal service/courier employed.

  • Arrival time depends on how far from UK the order is being sent:

    • Items sent within Europe will typically arrive faster (1-3 days) than items sent out of Europe (5-7 days).

    • Orders shipped via priority rate are guaranteed by the UPS to arrive within 3 business days. Most arrive within 2 business days.

  • You will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail that includes shipment details and your tracking number once your order is ready to be shipped. 

  • Tracking information for all orders, regardless of shipping method, is available and will be emailed once your order ships.


  • YES we do Refund!

    • All refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, subject to management discretion. Please note that we can process refunds only for items purchased from Moussa Issa Bookstore.

    • Moussa Issa Bookstore can cancel orders and provide refunds if the request is made within 24 hours.

  • No, we do not accept Returns!

    • As a print-on-demand publisher, we do not maintain an inventory of books, nor do we have facilities to accept and store returned, unsold books. As such, we ask that you carefully consider your options before placing your order.

    • Moussa Issa Bookstore can cancel orders and provide refunds if the request is made within 24 hours.


  • This means that customs people have put it on hold. Most probably, they will contact you to pay import duties on your book (s), depending on the number of books you are importing and what is the value of the package.

  • It sounds scary but all packages get "held by import customs". It just means it was scanned out of the delivery company's possession for processing with customs. It will change status once it's back in the couriers possession. It does not mean they have seized it for any reason.

  • Some countries like India, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia are very strict with international orders which may be subject to customs fees and import duties based on the country where the order was shipped from.

  • Moussa Issa Bookstore is not responsible for customs fees, and charges are not incorporated into the total cost of your order. Please contact your customs office for further information.
