My Story

Currently working at The Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai, Dr Diana George graduated MBBS in 2016 from SRM University. She obtained her MRCEM in October 2021. Her career started under Dr Abdul Salam at One Care Medical Center, a well-respected trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who allowed her to gain vast knowledge by assisting in trauma surgeries. This and interest in performing life-saving procedures motivated Dr Diana in choosing EM as a career option. With five years of experience in Emergency Medicine, she is looking forward to moving to the UK to complete her FRCEM and FFICM. Dr Diana published her first clinical case presentation in RCEM Learning on December 2021. As an active member of the RCEM Member Engagement Group, she had the opportunity to contribute to optimising the digital experience of the EM community. Apart from EM, she is an avid scuba diver, loves travelling and exploring different cultures and foods associated with them.
